What does Growology mean?
Growology is not just about growing larger or stronger, but about cultivating holistic wellbeing, encompassing mental, emotional, physical, and social aspects. 

Growology means the study and practice of fostering growth and development in all aspects of life.

It focuses on the science of wellbeing, understanding what contributes to a thriving existence, and applying that knowledge to help individuals and organisations flourish
Why the Cactus?
Cacti symbolise resilience, endurance, and strength, they can also represent protection, courage, and adaptability. 

Cacti are known for their ability to thrive in harsh, unforgiving environments. 

This mirrors how inclusive workplaces can support employees' wellbeing even during challenging times. 

Just as a cactus stores water to survive droughts, a supportive and inclusive environment can provide employees with the resources and resilience they need to weather storms.

Each cactus is unique in its own way, with different shapes, sizes, and flowers.

This reflects the beauty of diversity in the workplace.  Inclusion celebrates these differences, recognising that each individual brings unique strengths and perspectives that contribute to a richer whole.
Our Lead Growologist
Ross is an award winning program writer, bringing a wealth of experience in leading and supporting mental health and inclusion across a range of settings, from grassroots communities to global organisations. 

He is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments and is committed to making mental health, suicide and inclusion education accessible and relevant. 

Ross brings his own lived experience of suicide ideation and mental illness shaping an empathetic and authentic approach to the work he does. He is also neurodivergent, and this personal experience shapes his passion for neurodiversity inclusion and his ability to connect with a wide range of individuals. 

Ross has volunteered as a Crisis Textline supporter with SHOUT, sits on the associate board of the suicide prevention charity R;pple, co-founder of #TEAM33 and leads his club with the rugby mental health charity LooseHeadz. 

His "why" is the belief that everyone deserves support, by nurturing an inclusive culture this enables understanding and allows all to achieve their true potential, to thrive

MHFA England Comprehensive training including the MHFAider, Champion, Managers, Aware, and Refresher courses. Suicide Prevention :Evidence-based programmes including SFA Suicide First Aid, SFA Suicide First Aid Lite, and LivingWorks safeTALK. Thrive Neurodiversity Specialised training pathways consisting of Awareness, Champion, and Manager-level courses

Bespoke Programs

We provide a range of bespoke training and development opportunities: Train the Trainer: We offer award-winning "Train the Trainer" programmes focused on wellbeing and suicide prevention. Wellbeing Programs: Our bespoke offerings include specialised sessions on winter wellbeing, sleep as a lost art, and practical strategies for setting boundaries. Manager Development: We deliver tailored management training, including dedicated modules on "Managing Wellbeing and the Team" and "Managing Stress". Suicide Programs: Beyond standard certifications, we provide bespoke suicide prevention and awareness programmes designed to smash misconceptions and address the stigma surrounding men's mental health
